Chapter 9
Before (in chapter 1) and after (in chapter 9) Mamori joined the team.
Mamori loves chou à la crème and Kurita loves everything. They are cute together.
Those models are very well made! And for a genius, Hiruma's strategy there is quite simple. He is probably trolling everyone.

In Oujou, we have Sakuraba 50 kg, Shin 140 kg and Otawara 135 kg.
Oujou and Deimon are two very different teams!
I honestly would rather eat Mamori's homemade snacks than Oujou's ones! At least, it is made with a lot of love from our best girl!
As a model, Sakuraba is very famous and is viewed as the ace of Oujou. However he is overrated and he knows that. He knows that Shin is the true ace of Oujou and that that he is just an ordinary player.
Shinryuji Naga, the strongest team in Kantoh and the rival of Oujou White Knights, are there to scout!
Sena was afraid of Shin and tried to escape. But Hiruma used Cerberos to find him. Again, Sena has quite a different personality on-field as he is now motivated to fight against Oujou!
Hiruma is totally a tsundere.

Even if most of the team are amateurs, Sena still needs them to beat Oujou!
So Sena didn't use his full speed and still could run into the end zone. He will probably need his full speed against Shin though.
Agon from Shinryuji explained to us why Sena succeeded.
Hiruma is a dick, but Mamori isn't afraid of him!
First question is how many meters are there in yards. Mamori gives the exact number with the decimal point (9.440189 meters) and Hiruma is pissed off.

Helplessness with technology aside, Shin seems to be very intelligent as he is very knowledgeable about fitness and sports. Despite being a linebacker, Shin isn't playing right now for Oujou's defense. He was punished because he didn't scout properly Deimon in the previous match.
As I have already told you, Sena is quite different on-field, he is not as coward as outside the field. He is slowly becoming the hero that managed to land a touchdown agains the strongest defense in Japan.
As the journalist said, "Something most unexpected has occured. 1 min since the game opening, the 1st points have been scored by Deimon Devil Bats!".
Chapter 12
Eyeshield 21 is cool, enthusiastic and talented!
Deimon Devil Bats tried to score a few more points with the conversation. When you get a touchdown, you get 6 points, as well as a chance to score more points! You get one chance to attack 3 yards from the enemy line (in high school and college). Kick. Make it in and you get 1 bonus point. Touchdown. And you get 2 bonus points. You can aim either one!
Deimon tried to gain 2 bonus points but failed.
After a team scores a touchdown or used all their four downs, it has to kick the ball to the opposing team. The receiving team is then entitled to return the ball, i.e., attempt to advance it towards the kicking team's end zone, until the player with the ball is tackled by the kicking team, goes out of bounds, or scores a touchdown.
But Hiruma is a very bad kicker. "Stop talking about him like that", Is Hiruma foreshadowing another teammate who used to be Deimon's kicker?
Now, it is high time for Oujou's offense! Sakuraba is the wide receiver of Oujou. He is only playing in offense but not in defense.
