Naruto (Chapter 18-22)

Chapter 18

Kakashi explained to his students why they should climb the trees without using their hands.

After boasting a lot, Naruto failed miserably. Sasuke performed a lot better, but still failed to climb the tree. What about Sakura?

Well Sakura has the best control of her chakras. That's better than nothing!

Samurais exist in this universe!

Don't make Haku angry or you will regret it!

Thanks to Kyuubi, Naruto has a lot of potential. He can be even stronger than Sasuke or Kakashi.

Chapter 19

As Sakura has already mastered her chakra control, Kakashi asked her to stay with Tazuna and protect him. Someone tried to steal her purse and she kicked his ass because she thought he was sexually harassing her.

This chapter is one of the best with Sakura! She seems to be a better character when she isn't obsessed with Sasuke. I mean, Sasuke is the focus of her character. So far, she doesn't get to have a true personality of her own. She doesn't have her own motivation (why is she a ninja?). Everything was about how she loved Sasuke and hated Naruto. Therefore, Sakura without Sasuke is the best Sakura.

Naruto and Sasuke have a funny relationship together. Good for them!

Next chapter, Inari's flashback. Let's go!

Chapter 20

This piece of shit wanted to steal Inari's dog and called it Shooting Star. But Inari refused, so the bully threw the dog in the see. Even if he is a kid, he deserves to die.

Inari could have died there. So the bully was okay with being a murderer. I hope Gatô killed him.

Fortunately for Inari, Kaiza is there to save him.

It's cliché but Kaiza did manage to match words with action.

In order to save everyone, Kaiza risked his life and became the hero of the land of Wave.

But everything changed... when ~~the fire nation~~ Gatô attacked.

The death of Inari's stepfather Kaiza is incredibly gruesome as Gato decided to make an example of him for standing in his way by having his bodyguards cut off his arms, mocking his statement of "protecting the things you love with both arms", crucifying him, and then executing him in public in front of Inari and his mother.

RIP Kaiza, you were a good guy.

Chapter 21

Haku is cute, very cute.

OH NO NARUTO!

HAKU IS A BOY? Okay as it is a reread, I've already known that, but it's still surprising.

Naruto pranked Sakura and Kakashi to show his skills. Then he almost fell as Karma is a bitch. Sasuke saved him and proved that he also mastered his new skill.
