Chapter 30
Ichigo wanted to remain in the hospital so that the hollow will come after him and Don Kanonji. And if they fight in the hospital, there won't be any victims. Don Kanonji is impressed that Ichigo is fighting while thinking about the others. Unfortunately Ichigo forgot that his huge sword is not practical inside a building.
Some pages later, Ichigo killed the hollow.
Although Don Kanonji has good intentions, he didn't realize that he has helped creating hollows. Don Kanonji is ashamed of himself but Ichigo consoled him.
Murakoshi: "During meetings with Matsuki-sensei, references to Bleach often come up. Things like “This is the scene where we make Yonagi unleash her Bankai”, “OK, what’s in her Bankai?” or “What’s led her to unleash her Bankai?” and such. I’ve worked with Tite Kubo-sensei before, and Matsuki-sensei and I both love Bleach. We have this language we speak through Bleach that’s easy for us to understand (laughs)." 
That was random but very amusing! Then Rukia had orders to kill another hollow, she and Ichigo left.
The one who is killing hollows faster than Ichigo is looking at him from afar. That's a nice panel by the way.
So the new guy is an archer. Awesome! Ichigo fights with a sword while this guy fights with a bow. That's a nice contrast.
Previously in Bleach, Ichigo and his friends went to see Don Kanonji trying to exorcize a plus. But the latter fucked up and the plus became a hollow instead.
The design of this hollow is... meh. Don Kanonji is meh. The whole arc is meh (apart from Ichigo's friends being funny).
To sum up this chapter, Ichigo and Don Kanonji are fighting together this hollow.
Karin, Orihime, Tatsuki and Chad can all hear the hollows. Urahara said that it is wonderful and terrible, and he wondered what should be done.
Chapter 31
I don't hate Don Kanonji. He certainly has a good heart. Don Kanonji thinks he's protecting children throughout the country from the hollows.
Don Kanonji saved Ichigo.
Well, Don Kanonji is a better character than I remembered. I am happy to reread Bleach and change my opinion on some characters. Of course, I don't think he deserves to appear more. This arc, omakes or fillers in the anime are enough for him.
Chapter 32
I don't know if I should laugh at his tiny ball or be impressed that an ordinary human could do that. Probably both.
That's a surpringly large explosion for its size! Ichigo now can fight!
Ichigo thought that Don Kanonji would call him his "battle buddy" again. And he agreed to that idea "every once in a while". But instead, he was demoted to "number one pupil".
Chapter 33
In the last arc, Ichigo and Rukia appeared on TV to prevent Don Kanonji from turning the plus into a hollow. But according to this teacher, they brought shame to the school, so he was pissed off by the group. I don't know how he knew that the others were with Ichigo and Rukia though.
Rukia is again showing her amazing actress skills.
Trivia: The writer of Act-Age, Tatsuya Matsuki and his editor Mr. Murakoshi are both fans of Bleach. His editor used to work with Tite Kubo. Act-Age focuses on Kei Yonagi, a high school girl who strives to become an actress.
So Ichigo and his friends managed to escape without any problem.
The slice of life in Bleach used to be amazing. The characters are very likeable, they have their own motivation and personality. And even if they were already many characters, Kubo knew how to use to them. The first volumes of Bleach were great.
Small reminder: People in Japon don't call each other by their first names unless they're very close friends, in the same family, in a relationship or being rude. And Ichigo and Rukia called each other by their first names.
Well, it looks like things are going to change for better or worse.
Karin saw Ichigo in his Shinigami form with Rukia. This is a nice foreshadowing that led to... absolutely nothing. (Is that a spoiler? I don't know, I am sorry if that's the case).
And the chapter ends with Ichigo passing by someone on the street who can see him.
Chapter 34
Ichigo Kurosaki notes that there is no Hollow here yet again and asks Rukia Kuchiki if her Denreishinki is broken, prompting her to state that it should not be as she stares at it.
It seems that there is another person who kills hollows in Karakura town.
When the Fat Ghost flings himself forward while thanking them, Ichigo stomps him to the ground while telling him to go thank whoever saved him, and Rukia questions the Fat Ghost on who saved him from a Hollow earlier. However, the Fat Ghost admits that he did not see anything because he had his eyes closed in fright.
Ichigo is actually very clever! That's very surprising!
In the mid-term exam, some guy named Ishida Uryu scored as the first place with Kunieda Ryo (one of Orihime's friend). That's a nice foreshadowing.
Yeah, Keigo. I also reacted like you when I read that.
That's... very realistic. And very sad. Some teachers really are assholes.
Keigo cares a lot about Ichigo. He is a gag character but he has some depths.
Mizuiro ships IchiRuki. I wonder how Rukia didn't notice the rumors.
Even without Mizuiro's spreading rumors, it is quite obvious that Ichigo and Rukia are close friend.
Ichigo and Rukia finally met this new guy.
Rukia receives an order from the Soul Society. Ichigo asks her where the hollow is. Then Ishida answers him while insulting him.
Wow, the new guy looks strong.
And his name is... Ishida Uryu, a Quincy who hates Shinigami! His name was already shown earlier in the ranking of the mid-term exam. Ishida Uryu was the best student with Kunieda Ryo in their grade.
